My Trip:

Detroit has experienced an amazing renaissance over the past decade and it offers a great deal for any visitor – single, couple, or family. That’s the reason we chose Detroit as the first city to film our travel videos. There is an astounding variety of museums to suit any interest –The Motown Museum where you can learn all about how Berry Gordy and The Supremes put Detroit on the map; The Henry Ford which focuses on many aspects of American history; The Wright Museum which concentrates on African American History; The Detroit Museum of Art which is recognized as one of the finest art collections in the world. But there’s more to Detroit as well – awesome music every night (and many days) of the year at Baker’s, The Magic Stick and St. Andrew’s Hall; great funky neighborhoods like Greektown; even an MGM Grand Casino! You can even just chill out on a warm spring day having a picnic on Belle Isle, a 1000-acre island park with zoo, aquarium and conservatory. But don’t listen to me! See for yourself!
