Destination: Boston, MA

My Trip:

I’m a nut for history so I love Boston. Walking the Freedom Trail and getting to see first hand such sites at The Old North Church, Faneuil Hall, the site of the Boston Massacre, the U.S.S. Constitution, Paul Revere’s House and other places I’d read about since I was six years old, was an incredible experience for me. And a short drive in any direction can bring you to another chapter in our country’s history: The Lexington Green where they fired the shot heard round the world, Plymouth Rock where the Pilgrims landed, and the site of the infamous Salem Witch Trials (okay, I admit, this place has become a little silly). Of course, Boston is more than just history. Since it houses a ridiculous number of top colleges and universities, it has a vibrant nightlife with new music and clubs, wonderful theatre and museums, terrific restaurants, and a great variety of accommodations to match your wallet.
