Destination: Birmingham, AL

My Trip:

This is a classic southern town, filled with charm and hospitality, located in the rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. I’ve visited a number of times to check in on my good friends Rick and Bubba, two talented guys who host a syndicated morning radio show broadcast to about 30 affiliates throughout the southeast. I have to admit, this is the type of place where it’s great to just sit and be with friends and family, so I can’t tell you where the happening spots might be. What I can say is that the Little League game we attended was one of the most thrilling sports events I’ve ever sat through in my entire life! And Vulcan Park on top of Red Mountain is pretty darn awesome, with a huge cast iron statue of the Roman God of fire overseeing an incredible panoramic view!
