Destination: Annapolis, MD
My Trip:
Whether you visit this great little town to munch on some truly awesome crab cakes while looking across Chesapeake Bay or to munch on some truly awesome crab cakes while looking across a sea of dress- white wearing Plebes from the Naval Academy, there’s something for everyone here. (Especially, the truly awesome crab cakes!) Annapolis not only has a famously gorgeous waterfront, but some of the finest 17th & 18th century buildings in the country. Founded in 1649 it was once the Capital of the United States and you can still walk the cobble-stoned streets like Thomas Jefferson once did. (Although he probably wasn’t drinking a Venti Mocha Latte while he did it.) In the summer, the Annapolis Yacht Club hosts the Regatta of ships that should not be missed.
